I purchased an HD Fury Arcana, as many have mentioned here, and it solves this problem completely by piping the audio directly to the Sonos without going through the TV first. The audio will lag the video with this setup, and there isn't anything you can do because audio sync settings on the TV and Sonos are designed to add delay to the audio, not the other way around. I agree with most of the replies - you don't need eARC for sound quality because your TV will automatically use the lossy Dolby Digital Atmos and you will hardly know the difference.īUT there is another problem which so far no one has mentioned: the LG OLED TVs (even newer ones like the CX) add DELAY to the audio signal through ARC. I have a similar setup (Apple TV 4K, Sonos Arc, LG B7).
